i was smiling and almost skipping down the road in anticipation.
I walked in and greeted the cashier, it's sad when he knows your name because you're constantly in there, i noticed he had new packets of karate belts :)
He put like 20 karate belts in a little plastic bag and sells them all for only $1, it's truly amazing.
Anyhow I made my way to the biscuit section, well i suppose that's what it is... I can't read chinese :S
And there right on the second shelf where they should've been, was an empty spot filled with chocolate and vanilla hello pandas, i asked him where they were and he apologized for not having them for me.
Apparently he's noticed my obsession with them haha :)
They taste really good though, i remember the very first time I tasted them... it was a really nice night in Macau, China.
Mum and I had arrived to visit dad who was working there, i must've been about 6 only... we didn't stay very long, we stayed for about three months, then we couldn't get a visa so we left.
There I met Igor, my first best friend, he died of cancer shortly after.. But I have these photos up on my wall where we're both eating hello pandas during the chinese new year, the most amazing thing ever. So I figure that's why I'm in love with hello pandas because they remind me of better days while I was growing up :)
